Rules

We have rules to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable visit to our lakes but first and foremost to protect the fish and other wildlife that inhabit the area. If anyone is caught not abiding by these rules they will be asked to leave immediately.

1.

No keepnets unless authorised by management.

5.

Unhooking mats must be used.

9.

Spectators will be charged accordingly.

2.

All nets must be dry before use.

6.

No children under the age of 6, 6 to 16 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.

10.

All night fishing to be booked in. Night fishing sessions end at 7:30AM the following morning.

3.

No dogs allowed on site.

7.

All rubbish must be put in the bin by the gate.

11.

No bivvys to obstruct footpath.

4.

No fires allowed on site.

8.

No barded hooks.

12.

Check board by cabin door when matches are on or check website.

Match Rules

1.

No more than 50lbs per keep net.

3.

All big doubles must be weighed immediately and released.

5.

No shock sticks.

2.

No bolt rigs.

4.

No fish in keep nets longer than 6 hours.

6.

No stink bags or boxes.

Bowsaw Lake

Bowsaw Lake is our larger 1.7 acre lake and is home to carp, tench and chub. The biggest mirror carp we’ve had caught on this lake was 36lb with numerous double figure mirror and common carp showing most of the year. The largest tench caught on this lake was 7lb 8oz. We’ve just completed a restocking programme of mirror and common carp weighing between 15lb and 25lb in this lake which should boost the chances of a big catch even more! The match weight record for this lake is 301lb.

Billhook Lake

Billhook Lake is our smaller 1.4 acre lake and is home to carp, tench, bream, roach, perch, barbell, chub, ide and F1’s averaging 1- 4lb. In addition to Bowsaw Lake there are also some very large carp in this lake with weights between 4lb-23lb. This lake makes for a fantastic match lake but also is also brilliant for a day of pleasure fishing. The match weight record for this lake is 284lb for a 5 hour match.

From the M3

Take Junction 5 (Hook turn off) and follow the signs to Odiham. Get into Odiham High Street and take a right turn by the Kings Restaurant into Kings Road carry on until you come to the Odiham Cricket Club on your Left and just passed that take the next turn Left sign posted Roke and Park Corner. Take the next right carrying on for about 2 miles you will come to Roke Farm either side of the road and carry on passed that for about 500 yards and Bowsaw and Billhook lake is on your right hand side and is sign posted.

From the A3

Get on to the Hogs Back A31 and then follow signs for Farnham when you get to the Shepherd and flock roundabout follow signs for Odiham. Once in Odiham High Street, take a left turn by the Kings Restaurant into Kings Road carry on until you come to the Odiham Cricket Club on your Left and just passed that take the next turn Left sign posted Roke and Park Corner.
